Incogni Review
What Incogni's four plans cost on yearly and monthly billing, what each one removes, and how it compares with DeleteMe, Optery, Aura and EasyOptOuts.
Incogni is worth it in 2026 if you buy a yearly plan: Standard is $7.99 a month, billed as $95.88 a year, for automated removal requests to 420+ data brokers. The same plan costs $15.98 a month on monthly billing, so paying monthly doubles the bill. Unlimited, at $14.99 a month billed yearly, adds custom removals from 3,000+ more sites and live phone support.
The best buy for a household is Family: $15.99 a month billed yearly covers you and four others, which costs about the same as two Standard plans. Pick DeleteMe if you want a named human expert, Optery for the cheapest entry plan with screenshots, and Aura if you also want credit monitoring and insurance.

Incogni is the data removal service to buy when you want broker opt-outs handled for you on a yearly plan and do not need identity insurance attached. Its yearly pricing is competitive with the paid services, but only because the monthly price is set at double, so the billing cycle you pick matters more than the plan. Family pricing is the other lever most buyers miss.
This review prices every Incogni plan on both billing cycles, works out the cost per person for households, and compares the result with DeleteMe, Optery, Aura and EasyOptOuts. If you want monitoring and insurance instead of removals, start with our best identity theft protection guide.
Toolradar data: among the 51 privacy management tools on Toolradar as of October 2026, 41% offer a free plan and Incogni is not one of them, so the 30-day money-back guarantee is the only way to try it without paying.
What is Incogni?
Incogni is a personal data removal service run by Incogni Inc. of Mission Viejo, California. It sends opt-out requests on your behalf to data brokers and people search sites, the companies that compile your name, addresses, phone numbers and relatives into profiles they sell or publish.
The pricing page claims 420+ brokers covered and 245 million removal requests completed to date; both are the vendor's own figures.
It works on two kinds of broker. People search sites publish profiles, so Incogni scans them for your details and requests takedown when it finds a match. Private brokers keep their databases closed, so Incogni uses your region to decide which ones may hold your data and sends them opt-out requests periodically.
That second group is where an automated service saves the most time, because you cannot check those databases yourself. Incogni is also bundled into Surfshark's One+ plan, covered in our Surfshark review.
How Incogni works
You sign up, give Incogni the names, emails, addresses and phone numbers you want removed, and it starts filing requests for you. It then sends requests to every broker it covers and keeps sending them on a schedule, because brokers often re-list people after a removal.
A dashboard shows each request's status and the expected removal time per broker, and you receive a monthly progress report.
Removal speed depends on the broker. The vendor says some comply within hours and others take weeks, and it warns that some requests take over 30 days. That is the real case against monthly billing: one month can end before the slow brokers respond, and the recurring requests that stop data from reappearing only run while you keep paying.
The Unlimited and Family Unlimited plans add Custom Removals. You point to a page where your data appears, including sites outside the automated list, and Incogni's privacy specialists request its removal. The vendor puts that extra reach at 3,000+ sites, with no cap on the number of requests.
Incogni key features
Incogni pricing
Incogni sells four consumer plans on its pricing page, checked October 2026, each on a monthly or yearly toggle; the table below lists both rates for all four. The two individual plans differ only in reach, the two family plans repeat that split for up to five people, and sales tax may apply on top of every price.
Yearly billing is half the monthly price on every plan, which is why the page advertises a 50 percent saving. Twelve months of monthly Standard costs $191.76, the same figure the page prints as the struck-through yearly price.
Unless you plan to cancel within a few months, monthly billing pays double for a service whose slowest brokers take more than a month anyway.
Households should look at Family first. On yearly billing, two Standard plans cost $191.76 and one Family plan costs $191.88 for up to five people, so a couple pays the same and three to five people pay less: five members works out to about $3.20 each a month. Family Unlimited, split across five, is about $4.60 each.
Against the field, all on prices read on the vendors' pages in October 2026: DeleteMe is $129 a year for one person, $229 for two and $329 for four, with a 2-year option. Optery Core is $39 a year, Extended $149 and Ultimate $249 on yearly billing.
Aura Individual is $12 a month billed annually with data removal from 425+ brokers inside an identity protection bundle. EasyOptOuts is $19.99 a year for 200+ brokers.

Who Incogni is for
Buy Incogni Standard on yearly billing if you want your profile off people search sites and private broker lists without doing the opt-outs yourself, and you are happy with an automated service you rarely log into.
Buy Family instead the moment a second adult in your home wants the same thing, since it costs the same as two Standard plans and covers three more people.
Unlimited is worth the step up for people with a public role, such as landlords, small business owners or anyone who has been doxxed, because custom removals reach sites the automated list misses.
Skip it in three cases. If you want a human who reviews your results and sends quarterly reports, our DeleteMe review covers that model.
If you need identity theft insurance and credit monitoring, removals alone do not help after a fraud; see the Aura review and the LifeLock review.
If your worry is leaked passwords rather than broker profiles, the best dark web monitoring tools and a password manager from our family password manager guide address that risk, and email aliases in Proton Pass cut how much new data reaches brokers.
Best Incogni alternatives
If Incogni is not the right fit, these are the closest options.
| Tool | Best for | Starts at | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Incogni | People who want broker opt-outs automated on a yearly plan, and households that can share Family. | From $7.99/mo billed yearly (Standard, $95.88/yr) or $15.98/mo billed | Visit → |
| DeleteMe | People who want a named privacy expert and quarterly reports rather than a dashboard. | $129/yr for one person (yearly only) | Visit → |
| Optery | Buyers who want proof of removal and the cheapest paid entry point. | Core $3.25/mo billed yearly ($39/yr) or $3.99 monthly | Visit → |
| Aura | People who want broker removal plus credit monitoring, insurance and security apps in one bill. | Individual $12/mo billed annually or $15 monthly | Visit → |
| EasyOptOuts | Budget buyers who want the most visible people search listings removed for the least money. | $19.99/yr for automated opt-outs from 200+ data brokers and people sea | Visit → |
The bottom line
Incogni is a good buy on yearly billing and a poor one on monthly. Standard on a yearly plan is the default pick for one person, and Family is the default for any household of two or more, because it costs the same as two individual plans and covers up to five.
Move to Unlimited only if your data sits on sites outside the automated broker list, which is common for people with a public business or a past doxxing incident.
Choose DeleteMe if you want a named expert and quarterly reports, Optery if you want screenshots and the cheapest entry plan, Aura if insurance and credit monitoring matter as much as removals, and EasyOptOuts if budget is the only criterion.

Methodology: we read Incogni's pricing page on both billing cycles and the pricing pages of DeleteMe, Optery, Aura and EasyOptOuts in October 2026, then computed the household and billing-cycle comparisons from those published prices.
We run no test lab, so there are no removal timings or results of our own here; the category figure comes from the Toolradar directory we operate. Cite this: Cyberpresso, "Incogni Review 2026", October 2026.
