Password Manager Pricing 2026: Cost for 10, 25 and 50 Seats

Password manager pricing compared for 2026: eight team plans from five vendors priced at 10, 25 and 50 seats, billed yearly in USD, read October 10, 2026.

Last updated October 15, 2026

For a team billed yearly, Enpass Business and Proton Pass Essentials are the cheapest plans at $238.80 a year for 10 seats, $597.00 for 25 and $1,194.00 for 50. Both bill $1.99 per user a month, verified on each vendor's pricing page on October 10, 2026. Enpass also lists single sign-on and automatic user provisioning, which Proton's entry plan does not, so it is the lower-cost pick for a team that needs SSO. The most expensive row is 1Password Business at $1,078.80 for the same 10 seats.

Toolradar data: Toolradar, the software directory we run, evaluated 37 password managers for its October 2026 password manager ranking, and 2 of its 10 top picks have a free plan. This page is narrower. It prices eight paid team plans at three fixed seat counts, using each vendor's billed-yearly rate and no promotion.

What a team pays at 10, 25 and 50 seats

Every row uses the monthly rate shown for yearly billing, multiplied by 12 and by the seat count. The one exception is the 1Password Starter Pack, a fixed 10-member bundle priced per pack. Taxes are not added. The table is sorted by the 10-seat cost.

Plan Rate (USD, billed yearly) 10 seats per year 25 seats per year 50 seats per year Seat rules and what the plan lists
Enpass Business $1.99 a month ($23.88 a year) $238.80 $597.00 $1,194.00 No minimum on the page; SSO and SCIM provisioning listed
Proton Pass Essentials $1.99 a month ($23.88 a year) $238.80 $597.00 $1,194.00 Minimum 3 users; no SSO or SCIM in the plan
1Password Teams Starter Pack $24.95 a month for the pack ($299.40 a year) $299.40 Not offered Not offered Includes 10 members; capped at 20 users
RoboForm Business $3.33 a month ($39.96 a year) $399.60 $999.00 $1,998.00 SSO integration and SCIM provisioning listed

1Password Business $8.99 a month ($107.88 a year) $1,078.80 $2,697.00 $5,394.00 One-user minimum; Okta, Entra ID, OneLogin and Duo integrations

Five findings from the table

  1. Two plans tie for the lowest price at every seat count. Enpass Business and Proton Pass Essentials both bill $1.99 a month per user on a yearly plan, so they cost $238.80, $597.00 and $1,194.00 at 10, 25 and 50 seats. The price does not separate them. The feature list does: Enpass lists SSO and automatic user provisioning, and Proton's Essentials plan lists neither. A team that needs SSO should check Enpass's list against its own identity provider before it buys.

  2. SSO and provisioning cost nothing extra at Enpass, and $300 a year more at Proton. At 10 seats the cheapest plan with SSO and provisioning is Enpass, at the lowest price in the table. Moving from Proton Pass Essentials to Proton Pass Professional adds SSO and SCIM for $300 a year at 10 seats. RoboForm Business lists the same two features at $399.60 for the same team, so it is the second-cheapest route to SSO in this table.

  3. A 20-user cap removes 1Password's entry option above 20 people. The Teams Starter Pack costs $299.40 a year for its 10 included members, which makes it the next-cheapest price at 10 seats, behind the tied pair. It tops out at 20 users, so it is absent from the 25- and 50-seat columns. A team that grows past 20 people has to move to 1Password Business, the most expensive row at every seat count.

  4. The per-seat gap widens with headcount. 1Password Business costs 4.5 times Proton Pass Essentials per user. At 50 seats it costs $5,394 a year against $2,400 for Bitwarden Teams, a gap of $2,994 a year. Bitwarden's Enterprise tier, at $6 a month, adds passwordless SSO and self-hosting and still costs $3,600 at 50 seats, which is $1,794 less than 1Password Business for the same headcount.

  5. Every extra seat adds the plan's full yearly rate. Because every row except the Starter Pack is priced per user, one more person costs the rate times 12. That is $23.88 on Enpass and Proton Essentials, $39.96 on RoboForm Business, $48 on Bitwarden Teams, $53.88 on Proton Pass Professional, $72 on Bitwarden Enterprise and $107.88 on 1Password Business. A team that plans to add 15 people should price each addition at those rates and ask the vendor how mid-term additions are billed.

What the cheapest plans leave out

The two cheapest rows cost the same but are not the same product. Enpass Business lists policy enforcement, event and audit logs, SIEM integration and 24/7 technical support. Proton Pass Essentials lists none of those four. Its enterprise policies and detailed activity logs start at Professional, the plan that also adds SSO and SCIM at $53.88 a year per user.

Proton Pass Essentials does bring things a shared vault needs. Its plan lists a built-in two-factor authenticator, dark web monitoring, a password health check, passkey support on all devices and unlimited hide-my-email aliases. A team that mainly needs one encrypted place for shared logins gets those at the lowest price in the table for 10 seats. A team that must show an auditor who accessed what should look at Enpass, which lists event and audit logs at the same rate, or at Proton Pass Professional, which lists detailed activity logs at $53.88 a year per user.

1Password Business costs the most in this table. On top of the Teams Starter Pack, it adds Watchtower alerts, role-based vault sharing and integrations with Okta, Entra ID, OneLogin and Duo. Those are features a larger company usually needs from its identity stack, and they carry the highest per-seat rate in the table.

Who is left out, and why

Dashlane, Keeper, LastPass, NordPass and Zoho Vault are not in the table. We could not confirm a per-user USD price for them on their own pricing pages, and we do not estimate prices we cannot tie to a vendor page. That is why this index covers five vendors and eight plans, not every vendor a complete comparison would carry. The next refresh adds any of those five that publishes a per-user figure.

How we priced it

  • Source: each vendor's own pricing page, read on October 10, 2026, in US dollars: 1Password, Bitwarden, Proton, RoboForm and Enpass.
  • Rate: the per-user monthly rate shown for yearly billing. Cost equals the rate times 12 times the seat count, except for the Starter Pack, which is priced per pack. Proton labels its yearly billing with a discount, 60% on Essentials and 36% on Professional. We price the yearly rate and do not model monthly billing.
  • Left out of the cost: taxes, first-year offers and add-ons. Enpass advertises a first-year offer of $17.96 on its page, and RoboForm advertises a first-year new-user offer with no figure stated. Neither is in the table, which prices the regular billed-yearly rate.

Checklist before you buy

  • Count the people who will sign in. Most rows bill per user, so a contractor who needs access is a seat, and the cost in the table scales with that count.
  • Decide on SSO and provisioning first. Enpass includes both at the lowest price in the table. Proton Pass Professional adds them for $538.80 at 10 seats, while 1Password Business, the most expensive row, is the costliest way to get them.
  • Add sales tax. Bitwarden states its prices exclude taxes, Proton says they may apply, and Enpass adds applicable taxes at checkout. None of the totals in this table include them.
  • Check the renewal rate, not the first-year offer. The table uses the regular billed-yearly rate. A first-year discount is worth taking only if the renewal price still fits the budget.
  • Reconfirm the price on the vendor's page before you pay. This snapshot is dated October 10, 2026, and list prices change.

Frequently asked questions

What does a password manager cost for a team of 10?

At 10 seats the cheapest billed-yearly plans are Enpass Business and Proton Pass Essentials, at $238.80 a year each. 1Password's Teams Starter Pack comes next at $299.40 for its 10 included members. Bitwarden Teams costs $480 a year, and 1Password Business costs $1,078.80.

Which password manager is cheapest for a team of 25?

Enpass Business and Proton Pass Essentials tie at $597.00 a year. RoboForm Business comes next at $999.00. The Teams Starter Pack drops out at 25 seats because it caps at 20 users, so it is not an option for a team that size.

What does 1Password Business cost compared with Bitwarden Teams?

At $8.99 a month per user, 1Password Business costs $1,078.80 a year at 10 seats and $5,394 at 50 seats. Bitwarden Teams costs $480 and $2,400 at the same counts, at $4 a month per user. 1Password Business adds integrations with Okta, Entra ID, OneLogin and Duo, and Watchtower alerts, features the Bitwarden Teams plan does not list on its page.

Which of these plans include SSO and user provisioning?

Enpass Business, RoboForm Business and Proton Pass Professional all list SSO and SCIM provisioning. Bitwarden Teams lists SCIM provisioning and directory sync but not passwordless SSO, which comes with Bitwarden Enterprise at $6 a month. 1Password Business connects to Okta, Entra ID, OneLogin and Duo.

Do these prices include sales tax?

No. Bitwarden states that its USD prices are based on an annual subscription and exclude taxes. Proton says taxes may apply, and Enpass adds applicable taxes at checkout. Add the local rate to any total in the table before you set a budget.

Why is 1Password's Teams Starter Pack missing at 25 seats?

The Starter Pack includes 10 members and allows up to 20 users, so it cannot cover 25 or 50 seats. Above 20 users, 1Password's route is Business at $8.99 a month per user, which is $2,697 a year at 25 seats.
