LifeLock Pricing 2026: Plan Costs and What Renewal Adds
LifeLock Core costs $124.99 a year and renews at the same price; Advanced $199.99 and Total $349.99 do the same. Only the Norton 360 bundles jump at renewal.

After the first year, a standalone LifeLock plan costs exactly what it cost in year one: $124.99 a year for Core, $199.99 for Advanced and $349.99 for Total, each printed as "Renews at" the same price on LifeLock's plans page in October 2026. Renewal only jumps on the Norton 360 with LifeLock bundles, where Select goes from $99.48 to $159.99.
That is a change from the identity-protection market's usual pattern of a cheap first year and a steep second one. LifeLock's standalone plans currently carry no introductory discount at all, so the number on the checkout page is the number you will keep paying, unless LifeLock changes it. The fine print allows that: prices are subject to change and can be charged up to 35 days before the term ends.
Prices were read on 19 October 2026 on LifeLock's plans page, which lists every individual, two-adult and family plan with its annual, monthly and renewal price. Cyberpresso data: of the 11 plans on that page, the 9 standalone LifeLock plans renew at their first-year price, and only the 2 Norton 360 with LifeLock bundles renew higher, by 61% on Select and 40% on Ultimate Plus by our arithmetic.

LifeLock advertises the annual plans as a monthly figure ($10.42, $16.67 and $29.17 a month for one adult), but those are the annual charge divided by 12, and you pay the whole year up front. The monthly column is a separate, month-to-month subscription.
What each LifeLock tier buys
Core is the entry plan for someone with one checking account and a credit card. It covers up to $1.05M of identity theft reimbursement with up to $25K for stolen funds, activity alerts on 2 credit, checking or savings accounts, a credit and payday loan lock, home title and phone takeover monitoring, dark web monitoring, automatic data broker removal every 90 days and 24/7 phone support. LifeLock's FAQ lists scam protection under Advanced and Total, and only those two cards print a scam reimbursement amount, so do not count on Core to repay money lost to a scam.
Advanced is the plan LifeLock labels most popular, and the first with scam cover. It raises reimbursement to up to $1.2M with $100K for stolen funds, adds $5K of scam reimbursement and scam support, watches 5 accounts, and monitors all three credit bureaus. Priority phone support comes with it.
Total removes the account limit. Activity alerts cover unlimited accounts, reimbursement reaches up to $3M with up to $1M for stolen funds, and scam reimbursement rises to $10K. The buyer is someone with several bank accounts, a 401(k) or property whose title is worth watching.
Scam reimbursement is not available to residents of New York, per LifeLock's footnote, so a New Yorker paying for Advanced or Total over Core is paying for a benefit that does not apply to them.
What monthly billing adds
Paying monthly costs about 20% more over a year on every standalone plan. By our arithmetic, 12 monthly payments come to $149.88 on Core, $239.88 on Advanced and $419.88 on Total for one adult. That is $24.89, $39.89 and $69.89 more than the annual price.
| One adult | 12 monthly payments | Extra over the annual plan |
|---|---|---|
| Core | $149.88 | $24.89 |
| Advanced | $239.88 | $39.89 |
| Total | $419.88 | $69.89 |
Monthly billing does buy flexibility, because there is no annual commitment to unwind. But the 60-day money-back guarantee applies only to annual plans, so a buyer who wants a safe way to try LifeLock gets more protection from the annual plan's refund window than from the monthly plan's ability to cancel.
Where the renewal jump is: the Norton 360 bundles
Norton 360 with LifeLock Select costs $99.48 for the first year and $159.99 every year after. It pairs Core-level identity cover (up to $1.05M, with $25K for stolen funds) with one-bureau credit monitoring and device security for 5 PCs, Macs, phones and tablets. Over three years, by our arithmetic, Select costs $419.46, against $374.97 for three years of standalone Core.
Ultimate Plus costs $259.99 in year one and $364.99 at renewal. It adds security for unlimited devices to Total-level identity cover, with three-bureau monitoring, 401(k) alerts and $10K of scam reimbursement. Three years cost $989.97, against $1,049.97 for three years of standalone Total.
The comparison that matters is at renewal. Select renews at $35 more a year than Core, and Ultimate Plus renews at $15 more than Total. If you would buy antivirus anyway, either bundle is a cheap way to add it; if you already pay for antivirus elsewhere, the standalone plan is the better buy from year two. Our Norton 360 pricing guide prices the suites without LifeLock, and the Norton review covers the security side.
A household of two, priced over three years
Our scenario: two adults, no children, on annual billing, three years, from LifeLock's printed prices on 19 October 2026.
| Option | Year 1 | Years 2 and 3 | Three-year total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core, 2 adults | $224.99 | $449.98 | $674.97 |
| Advanced, 2 adults | $359.99 | $719.98 | $1,079.97 |
| Total, 2 adults | $629.99 | $1,259.98 | $1,889.97 |
| Two separate Core plans | $249.98 | $499.96 | $749.94 |
The two-adult plan is always cheaper than two individual plans. Core for two saves $24.99 a year against two separate Core subscriptions. Advanced for two costs $39.99 less a year than two individual Advanced plans would, though its scam reimbursement becomes a shared limit of up to $5K per family rather than one per person.
Children add little on Core: the family version costs $120 a year more than Core for two adults and covers up to 10 kids. For a household with teenagers starting to use cards, that is the cheapest route to cover everyone.
Fine print that affects the bill
Every plan renews automatically, and renewal can be charged up to 35 days early. LifeLock's subscription terms say an automatically renewing subscription is required, prices are subject to change, and you cancel from your Norton account or through Member Services. Put the renewal date in your calendar if you plan to switch.
The 30-day free trial requires a payment method at sign-up and charges at the end of the trial unless you cancel first, per the same terms. Credit features need identity verification and enough credit history to activate, and the credit lock deactivates if you downgrade or cancel. If you are a victim of identity theft and not satisfied with LifeLock's resolution, its guarantee may refund the current term.
LifeLock vs cheaper options
LifeLock Core is among the cheaper paid identity plans for one adult, but it watches fewer accounts than its price suggests. Aura bundles three-bureau monitoring with antivirus and a VPN, and our Aura vs LifeLock comparison prices both for one adult, couples and families; the Aura review covers its plans. Toolradar keeps a profile of Aura.
If data broker removal is the main reason you are looking at LifeLock, a dedicated removal service may cost less: see Incogni pricing, DeleteMe pricing and the best data removal services, with Toolradar profiles of Incogni and DeleteMe. Is LifeLock worth the price in 2026?
For one adult with a couple of bank accounts, Core's annual price is fair, and as of October 2026 it no longer jumps at renewal. Move to Advanced only if you want scam reimbursement or three-bureau monitoring, and to Total only if you have more than 5 accounts to watch or investments and property worth covering at the higher limits.
Avoid paying monthly for a plan you will keep, since it costs about a fifth more. Be careful with the Norton 360 bundles: their first-year price is the lowest on the page, but the renewal is where they earn it back.
How we checked these prices
We read LifeLock's plans page on 19 October 2026, including the individual, two-adult, family and All in One tabs, each plan's annual, monthly and "Renews at" price, its feature list, its FAQ and the subscription terms beneath the plans. Totals in the tables are our multiplication of those printed prices; and no promotion code enters them. We did not open a LifeLock account for this page.
