Norton 360 Pricing 2026: First-Year Prices vs Renewal Prices
Norton 360 pricing in 2026: Standard $39.99, Deluxe $49.99 and LifeLock Select Plus $99.99 in year one, plus the renewal price each plan charges after that.

Norton 360 costs $39.99 for the first year on Standard (3 devices), $49.99 on Deluxe (5 devices) and $99.99 on 360 with LifeLock Select Plus (10 devices), while Norton AntiVirus Plus costs $29.99 for one device. Each of those is an introductory price, and Norton prints what comes next: Standard renews at $94.99 a year, Deluxe at $124.99, LifeLock Select Plus at $189.99 and AntiVirus Plus at $59.99. All figures are US dollars read on Norton's US product pages on 17 October 2026.
Norton is unusual in printing the renewal rate beside the discount, so the budget question is answerable without guessing: the second year costs between two and two and a half times the first on most plans. This guide sets out every first-year and renewal price, what each tier adds, the VPN and mobile lines, the small business plans, and the refund windows that let you back out of a renewal you did not want.

Every price is in US dollars before tax, read on 17 October 2026 on Norton's US product pages, which print each first-year price next to the line "savings compared to the renewal price of $X/year". The renewal multiple divides the printed renewal price by the first-year price. Where the page prints a placeholder instead of a renewal figure, the table says "not printed", and you should expect a renewal above the first-year price there too, because Norton's terms say the price quoted applies to the introductory term only.
Toolradar data: on Toolradar, the software directory we run, Malwarebytes' entry paid plan at $3.75 a month billed yearly ranks joint second of 10 for price in its category, with pricing checked on 15 October 2026. That is the yardstick for Norton's cheapest line: AntiVirus Plus works out to $2.50 a month in year one and $5.00 a month at renewal, so Norton is cheaper than Malwarebytes before the renewal and dearer after it.
How much does Norton AntiVirus Plus cost?
AntiVirus Plus is the entry product, and the device count is the only choice. The one-device and five-device prices sit in the table above, and the five-device version renews $25 a year higher. Both cover a PC, Mac, tablet or phone, and both include the password manager, 2 GB of cloud backup, scam protection and the 100% Virus Protection Promise.
What the plan leaves out is the VPN and dark web monitoring, which start at 360 Standard. A person with one laptop who already runs a VPN has no reason to go higher, and the five-device option at $10 more in year one is the cheaper way to cover a household that does not want the 360 extras. For the question of whether a paid scanner is needed at all, our is Windows Defender enough guide and the best free antivirus ranking cover the $0 route.
Norton 360 Standard vs Deluxe: the $10 that buys three things
360 Standard covers 3 devices and adds the VPN and dark web monitoring to the AntiVirus Plus feature set, with the same 2 GB of backup. Its renewal is 2.4 times the introductory price and the steepest step among the mainstream tiers after Deluxe.
Deluxe costs $10 more in year one, and the extra buys two more devices, 50 GB of cloud backup instead of 2 GB, and parental control with the privacy monitor. At renewal that small year-one gap triples to $30 every year after. Over three years Deluxe costs $299.97, or $8.33 a month, against $229.97 for Standard.
The device count decides it for most buyers. Three devices is one person with a laptop, a phone and a tablet; a couple or a family needs the five seats of Deluxe, and pays the renewal premium for them. The 360 Premium tier covers 10 devices with 100 GB of backup at $139.99 for the first year, but its product page prints no renewal figure, so budget it as a first-year price only and ask Norton for the second-year number before you buy.
Norton 360 with LifeLock: identity on top of the suite
360 with LifeLock Select Plus costs $99.99 for the first year, covers 10 devices and renews at $189.99. It is the only Norton bundle that adds LifeLock identity theft protection, alongside the VPN, dark web monitoring, parental control and privacy monitor from the 360 tiers. Norton's menu also lists LifeLock Select, Advantage and Ultimate Plus versions of 360; this page prices the Select Plus bundle shown with a price on the products page.
The renewal multiple is the lowest on the page at 1.9 times, because the introductory discount is 47% rather than the 57% to 60% on Standard and Deluxe. The price is still the highest consumer renewal Norton prints, and the identity half of it is what you are paying for. Whether that half is worth more than a dedicated identity service is the question our LifeLock review, the Aura vs LifeLock comparison and the best identity theft protection ranking answer with their own prices.
Norton VPN and Mobile Security on their own
Norton sells its VPN separately in three tiers, all with a 60-day money-back guarantee. VPN Standard covers 5 devices, VPN Plus adds an ad blocker and extra protection on the same 5 devices, and VPN Ultimate covers 10 devices with 10 GB of cloud backup and dark web monitoring; the first-year and renewal price of each is in the table above. The network is listed at 2,800 servers in 28 countries.
The standalone VPN only makes sense for someone who does not want the antivirus. 360 Standard costs the same in year one as VPN Standard and includes the VPN, with a renewal $15 higher. Against dedicated VPN vendors, Norton's server count is small and its renewal is high; our cheapest VPN guide shows what the specialists charge over the same two years.
Mobile Security for Android or iOS covers one phone or tablet, and its renewal rises less than any other Norton line, at 1.5 times the first-year price. Norton notes that 360 Deluxe and the LifeLock bundle include Mobile Security, so a Deluxe buyer should not add it.
Small business plans: no renewal price printed
Norton Small Business covers 6 devices for $119.99 or 10 devices for $179.99 in the first year, at 2 devices per user, with Utilities Ultimate, the password manager and 250 GB of PC cloud backup. Small Business Premium covers 10 devices for $299.99 or 20 for $399.99, with 500 GB of backup, the Secure VPN and the driver updater added.
None of the four business cards prints a renewal figure, and the terms still say the quoted price is for the introductory term. A company that budgets $179.99 for year two will be wrong by an amount Norton does not disclose on the page. Compare that with the per-device vendors in best antivirus for business, several of which print one price that does not change at renewal.
What happens at renewal, and how to get out of it
Norton's subscription terms are printed under every price. The subscription renews automatically; the price quoted applies to the introductory term; after that you pay "the applicable monthly or annual renewal price", which is subject to change; and Norton emails annual subscribers the renewal price in advance. Annual renewals are billed up to 35 days before the renewal date, which is the detail that catches people who planned to cancel in the final week.
Two refund windows protect you. A monthly subscription can be cancelled for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, and an annual one within 60 days of a payment, which Norton presents as its 60-day money-back guarantee. Because the 60 days run from each payment rather than from the first purchase, a renewal charge you did not expect can still be refunded if you act inside two months. Cancellation is done in the Norton account or by phone, and cancelling the renewal keeps the current term running to its end.
Which Norton plan to buy
- One device, VPN already covered elsewhere: AntiVirus Plus for one device, the cheapest Norton line in both years.
- One person with three devices who wants the VPN: 360 Standard, and a reminder set for the renewal date.
- A household of up to five devices, or anyone who needs parental control: 360 Deluxe, whose 50 GB backup is the real difference from Standard.
- Ten devices: 360 Premium only after Norton tells you the renewal price, since the page does not.
- Identity protection in the same bill: 360 with LifeLock Select Plus, the lowest renewal multiple on the page.
- Nobody: the standalone VPN, when 360 Standard costs the same in year one and includes it.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Norton 360 cost per year?
$39.99 for Standard, $49.99 for Deluxe, $139.99 for Premium and $99.99 for 360 with LifeLock Select Plus in the first year. From the second year, Standard costs $94.99, Deluxe $124.99 and the LifeLock bundle $189.99; Premium's renewal price is not printed on its page.
What is the Norton 360 Deluxe renewal price?
$124.99 a year, printed on the Deluxe product page next to the introductory first-year price. That is 2.5 times the introductory rate and $30 a year more than Standard's renewal.
Is Norton AntiVirus Plus cheaper than Norton 360?
Yes, in both years. AntiVirus Plus costs $29.99 for one device and renews at $59.99, against a $10 higher first-year price and $94.99 at renewal for 360 Standard. The $35 renewal gap buys the VPN and dark web monitoring, so a buyer who uses neither should stay on AntiVirus Plus.
Does Norton have a free trial or money-back guarantee?
Every annual plan carries a 60-day money-back guarantee, and monthly subscriptions can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Because the 60 days run from each payment, a renewal payment is refundable on the same terms as the first one.
Can I stop Norton from renewing automatically?
Yes. Norton's terms say you can cancel the renewal in your account or by contacting Norton, and the current subscription runs to the end of its term. Annual subscribers are emailed the renewal price beforehand, and the charge can land up to 35 days before the renewal date.
Is Norton 360 Standard worth it over the standalone Norton VPN?
Yes, if you want either. Both cost the same in the first year, 360 Standard includes the VPN plus antivirus for 3 devices, and the renewal gap is $15 in the suite's disfavor. The standalone VPN only wins for someone who refuses to run Norton's antivirus.
