Dashlane Pricing 2026: Premium, Family and Business Costs

Dashlane pricing in 2026: Premium $64.99 a year, Friends & Family $97.49 for 10 people, business seats at $4 or $8 a month, and the plans Dashlane retired.

Dashlane Pricing 2026: Premium, Family and Business Costs

Dashlane Premium costs $64.99 a year, shown as $5.42 a month billed annually, and Friends & Family costs $97.49 a year for 10 accounts, shown as $8.13 a month. For companies, Omnix Credential Protection is $4 per user a month and Omnix Password Management is $8 per user a month, both billed annually, with Enterprise quoted. Prices were read on Dashlane's US pricing pages and checkout on 17 October 2026.

Our view: Dashlane is now a premium-priced password manager with no free tier and no monthly billing, and the Friends & Family plan is the only line where its price looks competitive. A single user pays more than three times what Bitwarden charges, and the VPN that once justified the gap goes to one person only on the family plan. This page sets out each plan, what it includes, what Dashlane has stopped selling, and what a household or a 10 to 50 person company actually pays.

Toolradar data: among the 37 password managers tracked on Toolradar, the software directory we run, Dashlane is the #4 most-listed alternative as of October 2026, so buyers cross-shop it constantly even though it sits fifth in Toolradar's October password manager ranking.

Dashlane prices at a glance

Personal prices come from the Dashlane personal pricing page and the Premium checkout and Friends & Family checkout, which print the yearly charge before tax. Business prices come from the Dashlane business pricing page. The per-user yearly column multiplies the monthly list price by 12. All figures were read on 17 October 2026.

How much does Dashlane Premium cost?

Premium is one account with unlimited passwords, unlimited devices and unlimited sharing, billed once a year. The monthly figure on the pricing page is only a display convention: the checkout shows a single line, "1 year of Dashlane Premium", and the order total is the full year up front. There is no way to pay month to month any more.

What the money buys is wider than a vault. Premium includes Dark Web Monitoring, real-time phishing alerts, AI-powered Scam Protection, which Dashlane labels as new, Secure Notes with 1 GB of encrypted file storage, password history, two-factor login and live chat support. It also includes a VPN for public Wi-Fi, which Dashlane's support pages identify as Hotspot Shield.

The VPN is the main reason to pay Dashlane's price for one person. A buyer who already has a VPN through work or another subscription is paying for a feature they will not use, and against Bitwarden Premium at $19.80 a year the gap is $45.19 every year. If dark web alerts and phishing warnings matter more than the VPN, 1Password pricing and Bitwarden pricing both cover cheaper single-user plans.

The trial is 14 days of Premium from the download page, and the checkout prints a 30-day money-back guarantee. The checkout also says the plan "renews automatically", and it does not print a separate renewal price, so set a reminder before the anniversary date.

Friends & Family: where Dashlane's price works

Friends & Family covers 10 accounts on one bill. Filled to all ten seats, the yearly price works out to $9.75 per person a year, which is the lowest per-person figure Dashlane sells. Two people already pay less on the family plan than on two Premium plans, which would cost $129.98.

The catch is the VPN. Dashlane's plan comparison says the plan manager gets a full Premium account, while invited members get "everything but VPN". Each member still gets unlimited passwords and devices, sharing, Dark Web Monitoring, phishing alerts and the 1 GB of file storage, and the manager gets a Friends & Family Dashboard to add and remove people.

Set against its rivals, the 10-account limit is the advantage. 1Password Families covers 5 people at $5.99 a month billed yearly at the regular price ($4.49 in a first-year promotion for new customers), and Bitwarden Families covers 6 people for $47.88 a year. For a household of six or fewer, Bitwarden is half Dashlane's yearly price; for a group of eight to ten, such as a family plus grandparents or a shared flat, Dashlane is the only one of the three that fits everyone on a single plan. What Dashlane stopped selling

Dashlane's support center states that it no longer offers or sells Dashlane Free, Premium Plus, Premium Plus Family, Essentials and Advanced, and that it no longer offers monthly subscriptions for any plan. That changes the buying decision in two ways.

First, there is no free tier to start on. Anyone searching for a free Dashlane plan in 2026 lands on a 14-day trial, after which the account needs a paid plan. Bitwarden still has a free plan; our best free password managers ranking compares them.

Second, the cheapest entry is a full year. A monthly plan used to let you try Dashlane for a few dollars; now the minimum outlay is a full Premium year, softened by the 30-day refund window. Existing customers on a retired plan may be able to keep renewing it annually, depending on where they bought it, according to Dashlane's support article.

How much does Dashlane cost for a business?

Dashlane now sells its business product as the Omnix platform in three packages, and the old seat-based Starter, Team and Standard plans are no longer sold. Existing customers on those plans can keep and renew them.

  • Credential Protection, the cheaper package: it delivers detection without a vault, at half the vault's seat price. It flags weak, reused or compromised passwords typed into company-managed desktop browsers, warns staff about phishing sites in real time, and sends risk notifications. It has no SSO or SCIM integration.
  • Password Management, the vault: secure storage for passwords and passkeys, AI-powered autofill, secure sharing, admin vault policies, SSO and SCIM provisioning, and SIEM integration. It carries a 14-day free trial.
  • Enterprise, custom price: both packages in one contract, aimed at organizations with more than 50 users, with dedicated account management. Dashlane lets the buyer set the number of vault seats and the number of employees covered by detection separately.

The split matters for budgeting. A security team that only wants visibility into credential risk can cover the whole company at half the vault price, and give vault seats only to the staff who handle shared credentials. Our Dashlane vs 1Password comparison goes deeper on the business features against 1Password's admin tools.

Team bills at list price

Team size Password Management, per year Credential Protection, per year Bitwarden Teams, per year Bitwarden Enterprise, per year
10 users $960 $480 $480 $720
25 users $2,400 $1,200 $1,200 $1,800
50 users $4,800 $2,400 $2,400 $3,600

Each cell multiplies the monthly per-user list price by the seat count and by 12, using the Dashlane list prices above and Bitwarden's Teams and Enterprise prices from the Bitwarden pricing page, all billed annually and read on 17 October 2026. Taxes and any negotiated discount are excluded.

The table shows the price problem plainly. At 25 seats, Dashlane's vault costs $1,200 a year more than Bitwarden Teams and $600 more than Bitwarden Enterprise. Dashlane's case rests on the detection layer, which Bitwarden does not sell as a separate product, and on browser-level phishing alerts that work for staff who never open the vault.

Legacy Team plans are being repriced

A Dashlane support article on renewals says the base price of selected Team plans is being adjusted to $8 per seat per month billed annually, the same list price as Password Management, and that discounted rates on Team, Password Management and Enterprise contracts will be adjusted as they expire. Dashlane emails the billing contact or the plan admins no more than 45 days before the renewal date, starting with plans that renew on or after 20 March 2026.

If your company bought Team at a lower seat price, assume the next renewal lands at the current list price unless Dashlane tells you otherwise. The new figure appears in the Admin Console under Account Summary, so check it before the renewal date rather than after the card is charged.

Is Dashlane worth the price in 2026?

For one person, only if the VPN is a feature you would otherwise pay for. Without it, Premium is a well-built vault at more than three times Bitwarden's price, and the free tier that used to let people stay on Dashlane is gone.

For a household of seven to ten, yes: Friends & Family is cheaper per person than any Dashlane plan and fits more people than the 1Password or Bitwarden family plans. Budget for the fact that only the plan manager gets the VPN.

For a company, Dashlane is worth a look when phishing and credential-risk detection are the goal. As a pure vault, its vault seat costs double Bitwarden Teams, so the extra detection features need to matter to your team.
