DeleteMe vs Incogni 2026: Price, Brokers Covered and Reports Compared

Incogni costs $95.88 a year for one person, DeleteMe $129. Plans, broker coverage, custom removals, reports and a family-of-four, two-year cost, October 2026.

DeleteMe vs Incogni 2026: Price, Brokers Covered and Reports Compared

Incogni is the better pick for most people who want their data off broker sites at the lowest price: its Standard plan costs $95.88 a year for one person, against $129 a year for DeleteMe, and its Family plan covers up to 5 people for $191.88 a year. DeleteMe is the better pick for someone who wants people to work the case, with 40 custom removal requests and a personal privacy expert on every plan. Prices were read on both vendors' pricing pages on 19 October 2026.

The two services remove the same kind of record (your name, address, phone number and relatives listed on people-search sites and in broker databases) but run the job differently. Incogni is an automated service that sends opt-out requests to its broker list and repeats them. DeleteMe combines automated scans with staff who file requests and send you a report each quarter. You are choosing between a cheaper machine and a dearer, more hands-on service.

Toolradar data: among the 23 privacy management tools with a verified entry price on Toolradar, the median cheapest paid plan is $7.99 a month, as of October 2026. Incogni's Standard plan on yearly billing sits exactly on that median, and DeleteMe, sold only in one-year and two-year terms, sits above it. Toolradar's DeleteMe vs Incogni page holds the side-by-side tool records.

The broker counts measure different things. Incogni's 420+ is the list its automated requests cover, and its Unlimited plans add custom removals from 3,000+ more sites. DeleteMe's 969 is the list of brokers it says it has found and removed data from, which mixes its automated coverage with requests its staff handle. Neither number tells you how many of those brokers hold your record, so treat coverage as a tie and compare on price and service.

What each plan costs

DeleteMe sells Standard plans for one person, two people and a family of four, on one-year or two-year terms paid upfront. One person costs $129 for a year or $209 for two years, a couple $229 or $349, and a family of four $329 or $499. There is no monthly billing and no free plan, US plans are for US residents, and every plan renews automatically unless you cancel. Our DeleteMe pricing breakdown covers the per-person math for every size.

Incogni sells yearly or monthly. On yearly billing, Standard costs $95.88, Unlimited $179.88, Family $191.88 and Family Unlimited $275.88; Incogni prints the struck-through monthly-rate equivalent next to each, which is why it advertises "save 50%". Month to month, Standard costs $15.98. Incogni notes that VAT or sales tax may apply. Our Incogni pricing breakdown walks through every tier.

The like-for-like comparison is yearly billing, because DeleteMe sells nothing shorter. On that basis Incogni Standard costs $33.12 less than DeleteMe for one person, and Incogni Unlimited, the plan that matches DeleteMe's custom requests, costs $50.88 more.

What a family of four pays over two years

This is the scenario the two pricing models split on. DeleteMe prints a two-year family price; Incogni sells no two-year term, so two years means two annual charges at today's printed price.

Plan Two-year cost, family of four Per person per year
Incogni Family (up to 5 people) $383.76 $47.97
DeleteMe Family, 2-year term $499 $62.38
Incogni Family Unlimited (up to 5 people) $551.76 $68.97
DeleteMe Family, two 1-year terms $658 $82.25

Incogni Family is the cheapest way to cover four people for two years, $115.24 under DeleteMe's two-year family plan. Add custom removals with Family Unlimited and the order flips: DeleteMe's prepaid two-year plan, which includes custom requests, costs $52.76 less. A fifth household member fits on either Incogni family plan at no extra cost, and would need a second DeleteMe plan.

The DeleteMe two-year term carries a commitment risk. You pay $499 on day one with no monthly exit, so it only beats Incogni Family Unlimited if you are sure you want the service for both years.

Round 1: price for one person. Incogni wins

Incogni Standard on yearly billing is the cheapest way to get automated, recurring broker removals from either vendor. It also comes month to month at $15.98, double the yearly rate, which lets a skeptical buyer test the service for a few months. DeleteMe's cheapest per-year figure for one person comes from its two-year term, and that requires paying $209 upfront.

Round 2: hands-on removal. DeleteMe wins

Every DeleteMe plan includes custom removal requests on top of the automated opt-outs, a personal DeleteMe expert, and email, chat and phone support. Standard allows 40 custom requests. Incogni Standard has no custom removals at all: if your address sits on a site outside its list, you need Unlimited, which adds unlimited custom requests, 3,000+ additional sites and live phone support.

If you already know of a specific site exposing you, such as a small local directory or an old forum profile, DeleteMe Standard covers it from the cheapest plan.

Round 3: reporting and rescans. Incogni wins on cadence

Incogni sends monthly progress reports on every plan and shows the expected removal time for each broker in its dashboard; it says some brokers comply within hours and others take weeks. DeleteMe Standard scans 4 times a year and reports quarterly. Its Premium plan for one person, $180 a year, raises that to 6 scans and bi-monthly reports, with 60 custom requests and 15 more broker sites.

A broker that re-lists you two weeks after a DeleteMe scan can keep your record public until the next quarterly pass, so a security lead watching for exposure gets faster visibility from Incogni's monthly reports.

Round 4: families. Incogni wins

Incogni's family plans cover up to 5 people with family account management, against 4 on DeleteMe's family plan. At the one-year price, Incogni Family costs $137.12 less than DeleteMe Family. The gap narrows only when the family needs custom removals, as the two-year table shows.

Round 5: identity theft cover. Incogni, US only

Incogni Protect, US only at $248.88 a year, adds identity theft insurance up to $1 million, 24/7 dark web monitoring, TransUnion credit monitoring and credit-freeze assistance to unlimited removals. DeleteMe sells removal only, so a buyer who also wants credit monitoring pairs it with a suite such as those in our Aura review and LifeLock review. Buyers who want insurance and credit monitoring as the main product should compare full suites in our best identity theft protection ranking and our Aura vs LifeLock comparison, and buyers who mainly want breach alerts can start with the best dark web monitoring tools.

Who should pick which

Pick Incogni if you want the lowest yearly price, monthly billing, monthly progress reports or one plan for up to 5 people. Standard suits most individuals; move to Unlimited only when you find your data on a site outside Incogni's list.

Pick DeleteMe if you want staff handling removals, including custom requests, from the cheapest plan, or you are covering one high-exposure person, such as an executive or someone dealing with harassment, who benefits from a named expert and phone support. Buy the two-year term only if you are sure you will keep it.

Removal reduces what attackers can look up about you; it does not lock your accounts. Pair either service with a family password manager from our best password managers for families ranking and an authenticator from our best 2FA apps list.

How we checked

DeleteMe prices come from DeleteMe's pricing page and its Premium plan view, and the broker count from its list of sites it removes from, read on 19 October 2026. Incogni prices, plan contents and the money-back terms come from Incogni's pricing page, read the same day.

The two-year totals use DeleteMe's printed two-year price where one exists, and otherwise two charges at the yearly price printed today. Cyberpresso did not run either service for this page. Both pricing pages change and both run promotions, so re-read them before you buy.
